Fan Coils
Fan coils utilise chilled water and LTHW (low temperature hot water) to control the temperature in your space.
Chilled water and LTHW are passed through a fan coil which is cooled or heated.
Air passing over the coil is cooled or heated by the fan coil and discharged into your space.
Water flow is normally operated by a valve which is controlled by an electronic actuator.
The fan coil signals an actuator to open, which allows chilled water or LTHW to flow into the fan coil.
Valves can be on / off, modulating or PICV (pressure independent control valves).
A fan coil can have an individual remote control, or multiple fan coils can be zoned and controlled by a single remote.
Space sensors can be included to accurately maintain temperature.
The chilled water and LTHW water are pumped around the building in pipes, which connect to the local fan coils.
LCW can install, modify and maintain all of the distribution pipework that form your system.

Installation
London Chilled Water can design, install and commission your chilled water project.
We regularly work for mechanical contractors, shop fitters and end users.
Our specialist operatives install all the required pipe work, control valves, fan coils and controls.
Service And Maintenance
London Chilled Water can maintain your chilled water systems to a high standard.
Units require filters to be cleaned regularly. They are removed and gently hoovered to remove all the dust and debris then replaced.
A good overall inspection is carried out including a test of the unit. Any items of concern are reported to the site contact.
LCW also maintain chiller plant, pumps and pipework.
